Welcome to the Bunkertown church of the Brethren. Vickie and I are blessed to be called by God to shepherd His flock in Bunkertown. In Matthew chapter 22 Jesus was asked which is the greatest commandment, His reply was Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the most important commandment. The second most important commandment is like it: Love your neighbor as you love yourself, (37-39, Good News Translation). When you join us in worship you will notice that as Christ demonstrated Love, we will endeavor to show His love through service.
If we build our family on the greatest commandment, peace will rule our homes. If we build our church on the greatest commandment, peace will rule our church, our community, and our nation. We look forward to worshipping with you, and growing in Love for God and one another as we serve Christ together until His return. Please also acquaint yourself with the members of our Church Staff.
God Bless, Pastor Wes & Vickie Stahl
Daily Reading Plan
Reading God’s Word keeps us in contact with our Creator and Savior. God reveals His plan for all creation and specifically your life in the pages of Scripture. Through continuous Bible reading we become familiar with the history of the world and with the plan of Salvation and restoration in Christ, but we also learn how to live our lives each day through the practical application of Biblical truth. If you are not in God’s Word, You cannot fully experience God’s wonderful plan for your life!
Read the passages listed on the day they are associated with. If you miss a day, just move on to the current day. Trying to catch up may become overwhelming and cause you to give up. This Bible reading plan from back to the bible is a Chronological Reading Plan, so it is arranged in the order that events happened. Start reading today and get ready to worship in the Word!
